Juniors: Dosbarth Miss Prydderch (Year 4)

Today we had a visit from Xplore and learnt all about the rule of 3. We talked about the word “tri” and how this relates to many things such as tricycle, triceratops and triangle.

We then had to build a bridge to cover the River Ganges.  We built it basically to begin with, meaning it didn’t hold much weight.  We then added triangles which meant that the bridge was sturdier and more supported.  Our improved bridges held 1000g easily.

The children were so engaged throughout and I was so impressed by the children’s group work and communication skills.
Da iawn pawb!
