Although we have had a fantastic week this week, our favourite day has definitely been World Book Day on Thursday! I was so impressed with the costumes the children came in – how creative! We were busy designing a World Book Day token to be entered into a competition for next year’s design (fingers crossed we have some winners!) in the morning, along with going into the hall with the rest of the school to watch a World Book Day surprise! In the afternoon, we joined with Miss Tinn’s class to create a stop motion. We listened to the story ‘Dear Zoo’ and came up with our own ideas for the story… watch this space for the fantastic final product!
I must give the children a special ‘shout out’ for working so hard today. You have made me so proud children, keep it up!
